Unrestricted Grant Cycle
2025 Grantmaking
Each year through our unrestricted and field of interest funds, we are able to make grants available through these competitive grant cycles. Areas of granting are Arts & Culture, Community Development, Education, Health, Historical, Human Services and Youth.
Because of what we heard during our 2019 Nonprofit Listening Series and the Community Chats, Early Childhood Education is an area of special emphasis.
The 2025 Grant Guidelines, including eligibility requirements, are also included under the “How to Apply” tab.

Women's Legacy Fund Grants
The Women’s Legacy Fund (WLF) of Montgomery County Community Foundation is a group of women committed to making a positive impact on the lives of women and children in Montgomery County. Each member makes a philanthropic gift, a portion of which is granted this year and a portion is added to the grow the WLF endowment. Their gifts along with the annual distribution from the endowment, are used to offer the grants. Members review the proposals and cast their votes for the proposal(s) they wish to fund. They invite grant proposals which address the needs of women and children in Montgomery County.
2025 WLF Grant applications are due Thursday, March 13 at 5:00 p.m.
