Requirements: North Montgomery graduate, education major -or- first generation college student
Description:
The Dr. Robert E. Brower Educational Fund was established in 2022 to honor the memory of Bob Brower, former superintendent of North Montgomery Schools. Dr. Brower was an accomplished teacher and artist, a visionary, a traveler, an author, a perpetual student, and a support for many friends and colleagues. Most importantly, he loved his family.
After his passing, his family decided that a scholarship fund would be the best way to honor his life and work in education. He loved his years at North Montgomery and made many great and lasting friendships there. It was their wish to support first-generation college students or those pursuing careers in education.
Criteria:
- Be a graduate in good standing from North Montgomery High School by the end of June of the year in which the application is filed
- Must major in education OR be a first generation college student
