Description:
The Jeff McClaskey Student Athlete Scholarship was established in 2022 in memory of Jeff McClaskey, a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. Jeff was a 1987 graduate of Southmont High School and a talented athlete. After graduation, he attended Marian University to play basketball for the Marian Knights.
Jeff returned to Montgomery County and owned L.C. & G Lawn Maintenance. He enjoyed watching and coaching many in basketball, and playing golf with his friends. Above all else, he loved nothing more than watching and coaching his three girls in their sports. It was his family's wish to support student athletes from all three Montgomery County high schools with this award. The McClaskey Scholarship is for one year and not renewable.
